Jobard has been a respected name in Meursault since 1860, but since Antoine took over the 4.8 ha domaine in 2007, his has become one of the most exciting names in the village. In common with many of his neighbours, Antoine is producing leaner, more balanced wines than of old, with less new oak influence and more emphasis on minerality and saline freshness. What is uncommon is the richness and intensity he manages to achieve alongside a taut energy. This fleshy style is apparent in the 2021 Bourgogne Blanc, one of the best examples of this classification to be found.
