Thivin's vines are on the best slopes of the extinct volcano of the Mont de Brouilly. This is an ancient estate, with the oldest part of the cellars dating to 1383. Owned since the late 1800s by the Geoffray family, the domaine has 8.3 hectares of vines in seven parcels (the 'Sept Vignes') on a variety of volcanic soils.
