Christophe and Cedric Gobin's family have produced Muscadet since 1904, purchasing Château de la Bigotiere in 1938. The brothers now own various vineyards in Muscadet, but Bigotiere is at the heart of their domaine, with 28 hectares of old vines on gneiss soils. The 2024 has the characteristic crisp, dry style of the region along with the prickle of acidity, but it also has more depth of flavour than more mass-produced examples. RKL
