100% Malbec from Santa Julia in Mendoza, an organic producer owned by the Zuccardi family. Despite the price, it's quite distinct from mass-produced Malbec, with very pure friut and layered aromas of violets and spice on the nose, with a fruity but savoury palate and firm tannins that continue throughout the long finish. An easy new world red that would pair with steak, but still a grown-up wine that fine wine lovers will enjoy. RKL
