"Lovely lemon and lime colour. The nose is most appealing, that lovely mix of fresh citrus and graceful riper fruit, little touches of grenadine. This is grown on compact white marl, which lends itself well to chardonnay. Tasted: 10/1/2021. 91-93 points." Jasper Morris MW
About Domaine Michelot
A visit to Michelot is always a highlight of our visits to Burgundy. The Mestre family are such good-humoured, gregarious characters, as well as highly-skilled winemakers. The domaine became one of the best known in Meursault under the charismatic Bernard Mestre. Today the 23-hectare domaine is run by Bernard's grandson, Nicolas Mestre, and his father Jean-Francois.
