The domaine is owned by the Cordier-Bignon family, who also own Châteaux Talbot and Senejac in Bordeaux. The 2024 L'Oratoire has the palest rosé hue imaginable, almost indistinguishable from the domaine's white wine, although on closer inspection it certainly has the pale, onion-skin or coppery tints associated with fine rosé. The fruit is much more assertive on the nose that the colour leads one to expect, with fresh aromas of peach and nectarine, an energetic palate with a citrus/grapefruit intensity and a salty, mineral character. One of the most interesting vintages of L'Oratoire for some years. RKL
